The Best Cure For Depression Is Changing Your Diet

Can Your Diet Affect Your Mood?

A new research as shown that the  Best cure for depression is to eat the right diet. Mounting evidence shows that depression, stress and even schizophrenia can sometimes be caused by nothing more than dietary deficiencies or food allergies. The  study revealed that almost all of the 750 depressed people that took part in the test, had extremely low levels of cholesterol in their body’s.

Evidence shows that very low fat diets can cause depression. Also insufficient levels of B vitamins, high intakes of sugar and caffeine, and gluten or milk allergies(**) have all been shown to cause or aggravate mental illness too.

Your doctor wont tell you that other common triggers for depression include  prescription drugs such as antibiotics, drugs for high blood pressure, nasal decongestants and heart drugs.

The last thing you want to have to go through when feeling depressed is an episode of ill health, but that is exactly what many people experience with many depression drugs.

  1. This is an interesting article. I need to research this as well. It is great information!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, too.

  2. Too many people are looking for an easy way to get skinny, and sometimes go overboard by starvation and risk becoming anorexic. I have to say that if more people would just focus on eating and living healthy – avoiding soft drinks and fast food would be a huge start! – then the weight would take care of itself. Not only that, but the effects on mood can definitely be significant too!

  3. You have some good posts! Sensible, good advice.
